Printed with permission from the A.A. pamphlet “Self Support: Where Money & Spirituality Mix”, here is the suggested Group Contribution to A.A. entities:
Service Entity and Address | Percent of group contribution |
JACKSON COUNTY CENTRAL OFFICE OF A.A. 116 E. 6th St. Medford, OR. 97501 | 50% |
DISTRICT 16 P. O. Box 4751 Medford, OR. 97501 | 10% |

In keeping with the Seventh Tradition, entities of Alcoholics Anonymous limits contributions to two sources: A.A. groups, and individual A.A. members.
While there is no limitation on the amount an A.A. group may contribute, we follow the limits established by the General Service Conference for individual contributions, currently not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) per year. Bequests in wills are acceptable on a one-time basis, and not in perpetuity. The limit is no more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00).
When contributing to your Central Office & District 16 on behalf of an A.A. group, please be sure to write your Official Meeting Name into the “memo” of the check.
When contributing to Oregon Area 58 & General Service Office on behalf of an A.A. group, please be sure to add your Group Number (from GSO) into the “memo” of the check. Not sure what your Group Number is? Contact GSO here to find out.
